http://www.miaminewtimes.com/2013-0...-supplies-drugs-to-sports-biggest-names/full/ Or consider Yuriorkis Gamboa, a rising boxing star who won a gold medal for Cuba in the 2004 Athens Olympics before defecting to Miami two years later. Gamboa has compiled a 22-0 record and has won WBA and IBF featherweight titles since coming to the States. In the 2009 notebook, Bosch outlines an extensive program he was shipping to Gamboa. In addition to protein powders and calcium/magnesium/zinc compounds, he included a six-day-a-week HGH regime, IGF-1, and a cream with 20 percent testosterone. What's more, Bosch even notes that Gamboa's next bout is scheduled against Brandon Rios the following April and writes, "Start clean-up Dec. 1" presumably giving the boxer enough time to pass doping tests. (The fight against Rios was later canceled, but Gamboa won two other fights by TKO and KO that January and February.)
No surprise. A lot of guys are on gear. If you have the money, resources, and can get away with it, why not?
I've always been a huge Gamboa fan, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he's been using. Combinations of speed and power that freakish usually don't come naturally.
His speed and power came since the days of amateur where he was constantly tested by rigorous antidote exams , keep this in mind.
Things have been crazy in South FLorida right now. All you hear is that SO Fla is ground zero for all this ped nonsense. I hope we get more answers.
Yeah a lot of baseball players getting popped for PEDS down there. This doctor is linked to some of the biggest stars in baseball with Alex Rodriguez being the biggest.
