I may have worded it wrong, but I think Guzman would school Gamboa just as much as the others I named..

Don't let the remarks fool you. Gamboa won this like 8 round to 2, maybe 9-1. And Jimenez, who has never been stopped, his face looks like hamburger.

And to be honest, that KD while completely legit, didn't hurt Gamboa. He was up at like 2, not shaky and came straight forward and started throwing. Jimenez clocked him with some very clean shots, which usually prompted something like 6 punches from Gamboa in response.

I stand by the statement. Linares is the younger, better superstar.

He brutalised Jimenez every round, except for getting KD'd by a temple shot.

On the other hand, Linares ate X amount of shots from shot ass Larios.

Gamboa is an amazing talent, and I'm 100% on board the express.

However, he does get hit a bit too much. Perhaps because he is always on the attack and throws so many punches, but it's definately the main thing he needs to improve for future fights.

Still, the guys had 10 fights, and it speaks volumes of his talent that people are treating him as if he was a world champ or top contendor. He's also probably still trying to make the transistion from amateur to pro (amateurs tend to throw more, cause they only have 4 x 2 to do their work).

He's still not quite ready for the top dogs, yet.

Gamboa would starch Linares in 3 rounds mate. Gamboa's chin is proven now, he just needs to sharpen some things up. He's still the future, I was impressed by his tenacity and multi-dimension.

Give it up Amsterdam. Your guy is good. But you have the wrong "god".

Gamboa's awesome, but he doesn't get Linares out of there in 3 rounds.
