That ship has sailed, he said in refence to a fight against Juanma at 130-135.
I think the one deciding what ship sailed and what ship is still in bay is 50 cents.
If Juanma come back strong with some good wins, why not?

Nobody wants any part of a comeback JuanMa.
I'll be honest tho IF I was Gamboa I'd probably duck Lopez aswell.

    JuanMa might KHTFO.
Lopez is dangerous right now, He has alot to prove.

50 is eyeing Broner, but with the way Gamboa fought, that is not a fight they should be going for right now.

Lopez can work his way into a big showdown.
But he"s gonna have to earn it. Once he becomes a money maker again he can get whatever fight he wants.

I don't see why they shouldn't fight. They should have the fight in Puerto Rico and see if they can get the majority of the gate and maybe future rights to JuanMa out of it.

It really would be a 50/50 fight seeing that their jaws are so bad.

I'd still like to see this fight but I understand Gamboa's position. Lopez has lost 2 of his last 3 fights by ko and Gamboa is probably looking for bigger things. But, if Lopez bounces back with a nice win or two than it becomes a fight people will want to see again.

Agreed, Maybe JuanMa should challenge that kid that gave Gamboa a good scrap on sat. Farenas is tough SOB.

If Juanma destroys Farenas he'll make an statement about fighting Gamboa. No too many names at 130.
But be aware of farenas, he isnt a walk in the park.

Gamboa just made a comeback for $50K and didn't looks spectacular. Juanma would still do a better gate and draw more fans that Gamboa.

the difference is: Gamboa is coming from a layoff due to a legal dispute. He got a lot of attention from american media having 50 cents next to him.
Lopez is coming from 2 devastated loss by KO.
