Maybe one day, but certainly not at the hands of Hurd. Hurd was getting schooled by Trout before the smaller man gassed, and Lara is both slicker and more patient than Trout. Lara will win rounds just as easily as Trout was but won't expend half as much energy in doing so.

He won't be after Hurd, which will add insult to injury since Hurd probably isn't half as skilled.

Lara's had softer matchmaking the last few years, and much higher paydays with them. Im glad for him for that given his luck earlier in his career. This is not the same younger Lara who was in a more desperate situation and couldn't catch a break, though. We haven't seen him matched tough enough to know if a certain level of complacency has set in.

Hurd is massive, hungry, strong, and isn't one to be demoralized even if he's getting landed on routinely. He won't have a long prime, but those qualities make him dangerous as hell for a fighter where Lara is at in life.

Didn't see that fight... There's heavy sentiment that Gamboa should have lost?

An absolutely horrific decision that got mainstreamed and swept under the rug even more than most due to it's lack of high profile appeal.

You're right, he didn't get KO'd, he has something far worse than a glass jaw, he has a glass heart.
