Gamboa - he hadn't fought in over a year and came in out of shape. An active and in shape Gamboa at the time would've been a 50/50 fight for Crawford.

Rigo - inactive, old, and jumped two weight classes. Loma also got away with a lot of fouling, which is most likely why Rigo quit.

Dorticos - Nothing special. Can't punch at the top level and his skill are overrated.

Ortiz - Inactive, but also highly avoided and for good reason. He would've most likely beat anyone in the division in 2015. Joshua and Parker wanted nothing to do with him and even Wilder only took interest last year.

Barrera - Good fighter, but even at his best barely a top 10 fighter.

So very many were picking Barrera to knock Bivol out, it turned out to be a complete mismatch, Bivol was much more impressive than SOB Ward................

Some also picked Barrera. They said that Barrera was too good of an amateur, Bivol beat him much more convincingly than SOB Ward! As a matter of fact, I was surprised that Bivol beat him so easily..............he had improved since he fought SOB!
