Juanma needs a new trainer, the only thing he has atm is workrate, stamina and power.

Living in a perfect world of imagination where the best fight the best and where promoters join together to make a good fight, yeah I would chose either Broner vs Gamboa or Gamboa vs Lopez.

I would love to see a fight against Broner @ 130, but I doubt that will happen due to their promoters and Broner still needs couple more fights.

    I'm still interested in a JuanMa fight @ 130.

At 135 I would rather see Gamboa fight a Mexican with tha non-typical Mexican style, I'm refering to Miguel "El Titere" Vasquez. Vasquez is a good boxer and counterpuncher who has been doing good. I think Gamboa can take him but it would be a very interesting fight.

Hey Bon-Bon nice avi, LOL. That's classic man!!!

Marquez is too high at this point, and too good.

Lopez would be fun to watch if he proves himself a little more before earning the shot.

Broner is already on his way up and would be a great fight for Gamboa.

Nice post! I have never heard of Miguel Vasquez, but I take your word about him. But Gamboa is so used to fighting the good slick boxers from the ams that it could be kinda easy for him. Lopez would be fun to watch until Yuriorkis starts landing his clean bombs then it's lights out.

A Marquez fight at 135 would be a great one, would love to see Gamboa avenging Casamayor's loss! :hey

Gamboa was the Unified IBF-WBA Champion before being forced to vacate it, plus he is the absolute best " recognized " featherweight in the World. There's no need for him to become Champion to face mediocre Broner. ;)

Since JMM and Broner are with Golden Boy, the only realistic option is Juanma.

Ha! Great avatar Bon Bon. Sky is the limit for Gamboa, but he hasn't faced an elite anywhere close to Jmm's level. I dont give him much of a chance vs Marquez even tho it would be competitive Marquez is still on a level hes shared with other greats for years. Gamboa has shown me potential but hasnt followed through. I picked Lopez because thats a winnable and more realistic matchup for Gamboa. Once he beats Lopez we can take it from there. Its time for El Ciclon to step up. Broner is still too young I think.

Hey, el Chompiras is the man! LOL

I am glad you liked my avi picture, that's my all time favorite comedy show! ;) Speaking about Gamboa, I understand your points but let me ask you, who do you consider better a prime Casamayor or the current Gamboa? :good
