That was as blatent as you will ever see. I mean he followed him after he clearly went down far enough away from him that there could be no doubt as to whether he was down or not.

WTF? How do you not DQ a guy for that?

    Firm and fair my ass.

Just going to make this post, 100% that is a DQ he looked and looked and then decided after he knew salido was down to punch him int he back of the head.

Immediate DQ, Cortez blew that call, but i wonder why? Cortez is an experienced ref!!

Salido was able to continue so the fight went on.

He wasn't very hurt and was able to get up.

    2 points is fine.

That says everything. He took one to the back of the head too. Salido is going to regret the fact he didn't put on one of those Oscar worthy performances after the foul landed. If he had stayed down he'd have two belts right now instead of none.

Gamboa was pretty much just playing with Salido for the majority of the fight. I wish he had been pushed harder so he would start to cut out the clowning and learn to control his talent more.

Since when does it matter if you can continue? that was a blatant, calculated blow when his opponent was on the canvas!! On top of that it was to the back of the head. That should have been an immediate DQ

    Cortez blew that call.

I don't care that he was able to continue, that was one of the worst fouls I've ever seen.

Gamboa has that power that could put a defenseless person in lala land though, so does Abraham but I'm glad Salido got up.

Superstar fighters think there are two sets of rules, one for them and one for everyone else. Why the hell didn't Max call him on that? That is the more disciplened Gamboa?

I wanna see ESPN do a segment on all the fouling that top-level fighters get away with.
