Gamboa/Solis & Mikey Garcia/Remillard fascinating double-header on March 26!

A great card is being worked by Top Rank and HBO for March 26 featuring the most exciting FW beltholder, Yuriorkis Gamboa and the best prospect the division has to offer, Mikey Garcia.

Gamboa will likely take on interim SFW champion Jorge Solis who was originally supposed to face Japan's Uchiyama - either Solis or Jason Litzau who beat borderline P4P-er Caballero in the upset of the year a few months back. Both match-ups are very good, but one thing you should know: Bob Arum yet again pushed JuanMa-Gamboa back as "it still needs buildup" (blah blah bull**** alert blah).

The undercard offers a good bang too as Roberto Garcia's little brother Mikey is taking on fellow undefeated FW prospect Matt Remillard. It's possible that Garcia is the future of the absolutely packed FW division as the kid is naturally gifted, highly skilled, super dedicated and packs a huge punch. Remillard is the NABF/NABO FW champion.

The combined record of these four (if Solis gets the fight) is a staggering 106-2 with 77KOs! Let's just hope it gets signed shortly.

 

That's a bit too early IMO. Garcia is ready for an eliminator type of fight but then there's the championship level and then the level JuanMa is fighting on.

In addition to the two featherweight fights, another showdown was added, this one at junior featherweight between unbeaten contenders Jorge Diaz and Teon Kennedy.

The combined record of these 6 fighters is 137-1 with 93KOs!

Damn, show some love for these guys, 5 of them are undefeated and the 6th is a former Pac opponent, where's the buzz for this great show?
