he is not mentally focused throughout and doesn't seem to have his heart into what he's doing. it seems he struggles with deciding which style to fight. the old reckless Gamboa, or the new and improved, more disciplined and technical self. The problem is that he executes the later with little empathy and seems as if he doesn't believe in it and is rather board doing it.
He is a walking K.O. waiting to happen. He reminded me of a "Shot" version of Meldrick Taylor last night. (Still better than most, But waiting to get knocked off)
Gamboa has more natural ability than any of the young fighters out there. But the way he swings in bursts with his chin in the air is going to be his downfall. Still, I think he'll KO JuanMa.
