Finally some exposure for him on American TV, though no SHO Box but ESPN2.

First date is said to be the opener to BJ Flores vs. Darnell Wilson on Feb. 8 (Dover, Delaware).

This one is followed by a fight on Feb. 22, also televised by ESPN2 (Hollywood, Florida).

Though, I don't know about his upcoming opponents, those are good news for everyone who loves to see him fight...

Where did you get this news from?

That would be great! I thought he was supposed to be fighting on Shobox at the end of February.

Well, I think I remember some examples of you being a trustworthy source, so I'm not going to question you. I really hope this is true.

Me three. Even though I may have seen him in amateurs, just do not recall the particular fight.

I think a lot of us are in the same boat. We've heard good things and are anxious to see for ourselves. Some good showings on ESPN will be good for Gamboa.

Well, he's no Donaire or Jorge Linares but he does have a bright future. He's not your typical prospect.

Btw being " naturally gifted " is not everything in boxing and it doesn't guarantee ****. He does appear to have the most talent out of the bunch but that doesn't make him the best prospect either. Only time will tell.

Of all the Cuban defectors he is hands down the best. He keeps in shape, is focused, and his combination of hand and foot speed, wide array of punches, and power has been very impressive thus far.

Gamboa should fight Linares late 2008, he'd own him easily, then move on from there with quite a name.
