Gamboa will knock Juan Manuel Lopez in any round of the fight if Gamboa decides to do so. The speed and power of Gamboa is very unusual to see these days in boxing.

Gamboa looks the most physically gifted boxer since RJJ, amazing to watch. Will be interesting to see how good he looks against the elite.

    how so?

JuanMa is still a dangerous fighter.

Mtagwa isn't a good barometer to judge how they would fare against each other.

Yeah, against average opponents it's easier to look amazing, but the game changes a lot once they go against the elite fighters. I'm not fully on the Gamboa bandwagon yet and I would love to see him against a really tough opponent before getting on...

If gamboa looks half as good as he did against mtgawa facing a top fighter then I'm definitely getting on.

I don't think he'll knock him out whenever he decides to do so, I think Lopez is tougher than that. But Yuri will get him though. Gamboa is a gifted beast who seems to have gotten used to the pro game very well. His latest performances have been flawless. Skill wise, Lopez can't even lace Yuri's shoes. Lopez is good and has some good things going for him as well, but Yuri is showing why he's a gold medalist. Lopez has a chance, but it's not likely he'll defeat him. Future p4p best fighter in the sport.

I won't say gamboa would be too much for juanma. This is a pick 'em fight.

My reaction to seeing both fights was that Gamboa will annihilate Lopez. Gamboa knocked the **** out of mtagwa and he took Lopez the distance. I know one thing isn't directly related to the other but my gut tells me that Gamboa would take Lopez out and early too.

I've never really been all that high on JuanMa. I have been on the Gamboa bandwagon for awhile, and I think Gamboa would take out JuanMa late in the fight as he would tire down down the stretch. Gamboa has looked like a beast in his last couple of fights.

As good and fast as Gamboa is...his defense is his offense. That works for a while, until you hit the next level. Lopez is light years ahead of Gamboa when it comes to technique and style. That said, he's a huge threat. but don't count out Lopez. Technically, he's very solid. And he hits like a mule.

Yeah. Until Gamboa gets hit with a few left hands and right hooks. "Too much" will take on a whole new meaning.

We don't need to look of Gamboa beating Matagwa as good basis or a fitting barometer to conclude he could do the same to Juanma. We must not forget that Lopez is one of intelligent fighters we had in this sport and has the ability to adjust what his opponent can bring in the ring. We saw that in his fight against an also tougher fighter on Luevano. And we must not also forget that Gamboa has questionable chin, though he looks physically great and strong, he will sure too kiss the canvass once Juanma Lopez connects a good punch.
