As of now Pac seems to be a lightweight and no matter what he's going to campaign there in full. I'm sure that he'll vacate that belt before the night of the fight or some time there after if he should win.

Humberto Soto is currently ranked #1 contender and w/ his new WBC int. title, Yuriorkis Gamboa is now ranked #3 ... this match up is very possible and i'm sure that HBO would be down for that --

    What do you guys think?

    GO HUMBERTO!!!

Can't stand the arrogance of Gamboa. Putting his hands down repeatedly like he's some hot shot against a fighter like Jiminez.

Yeah but the speed alone (of Joan Guzman) gave Soto fits and he ended up getting blew out because he was too slow.

I would like to see the match up but Soto is practically going to be already given the title this saturday. The match with Lorenzo is for the Interim title and if Pacman decides to vacate, it becomes Soto's instantly.

Then Gamboa because the #1 or #2 contender and possible fights an eliminator or goes straight to the mandatory position --

I love Soto but even at this stage i'll give it to Gamboa. His skills will just be too much for Soto.

    Unfortunately, your probably right.

Man, someone has to teach him a boxing lesson. Almost reminds me of a lesser cool version of Naseem Hamed.

Hamed used to hot-dog around with his hands low, but he was cool, because he had wicked power, too. But Barrera, calm and patient, gave him a boxing lesson.

We need to find a Barrera for Gamboa. :bbb

I will actually say Soto is too much for Gamboa right now.
Soto wont stop throwing at all and i really dont think Gamboa can hurt Soto at all. Gamboas low hands will become a big problem against a boxer-puncher like Soto. Its not very accurate to compara Gamboa to Guzman. Guzman has a great defense which is directed by Mayweater Sr. Gamboas defense is nothing like it. Actually his defense is just reflexes and I think a guy like Soto drags Gamboa into deep waters and KOS him late.

Dont get me wrong i love Gamboa but Soto is as solid as they come in that division(next to JMM, Pac, and Guzman).

Another perfect way to Gauge Gamboa's talent by getting him in there with a fighter that Guzman wupped up!
