I just talked to someone close to gamboa's camp yesterday i wanted to share it since i have been trying to look for info everywhere. Apparently Top Rank already made an offer to Caballero but its pretty close to Caballero's minimum and they still havent heard back from caba's camp. he told me that even carl moretti admitted that money is tight and there might not be enough money for everyone to close the deal. He also said that Top rank is talking to don king to keep the possibility of facing elio rojas alive just in case the caballero deal falls throuh

lol just realized that dan rafael just posted this yesterday whatever happened to my source

Caballero was impressive in his last fight, hopefully this fight gets made between two top fighters at 126. Winner gets Juanma!

You don't take your minimum to get schooled by a Gamboa.

this is the same reason the caballero vs juanma fight never was made because caballero wants to make his biggest payday.. the reason he talks all that **** is to talk himself into a payday and is not working.. but if the fight falls through i bet nobody here will say that it is because gamboa is scared of him

lol when did he ask for 1million dollars.. show me the quotes from the interview where he said that.. and dont quote other posters either.. i can do that.. and from what i heard it was caballero that asked for too much money and that's why arum went away from that fight

Money will be tight because Caballero doesn't sell. Even Gamboe will not get as much as he would want. Exactly the same reason why Juanma doesn't even care about Caballero.

#1. Who is Pinero? That should be enought answer, but....
#2. Vazquez and Marquez not making 1 million in any of their fights just show how abused latin boxers are. If they were american, they would have made that million, easily.

this is the article that appeared on the scene. the quotes are fron juanmas manager. now start working on ur spin

Orlando Pinero, the manager of WBO super bantamweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez, has lashed out at WBA/IBF champ Celestino Caballero. Pinero is tired of Caballero negotiating through the media. Pinero is reacting to Caballero's recent comments, where the two-title holder vowed to come to Puerto Rico to "break Juanma's mouth." Pinero told Caballero to contact Juanma's promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, if he really wants the fight.

"This is a desperate athlete. Every fighter has a team and it is assumed that those who do business for the fighter is the manager and promoter. They can call Bob Arum. Boxing is not a kid's game, it's a business," Pinero told El Nuevo Dia.

The problem is not talking to Arum but Juanma's seven-figure demand to make the fight. Juanma wants at least $1 million dollars to fight Caballero. The amount of money is more money than Israel Vazquez and Rafael Marquez made in any of their trilogy bouts.

I don't rate Caballero at all. I think he's a very limited, beatable fighter. People criticize JuanMa for ducking him but I think it was more Arum...again. If they did fight, JuanMa would knock him out, just like Gamboa will.

So, Pinero say the first part of the article you mentioned. who said Juanma's was asking the 7 figures. The article doesn't say Pinero said that part. Only said Pinero said Caballero is a desperate fighter. That is what I mean. In other words, you didn't show anything. All Pnero sayd was: They just need to call Bob Arum. One more time, where is Juanma asking for 7figures?????? But let me add, if Juanma is trying to get 7figures for a fight then, good for him!!!

that is an interview wth piniero, so your spin is that while interviewing pinero the writer pulled that number out of his ass
