Thoughts? WAIT FOR IT TO HAPPEN FIRST. Wait for an announcement. This makes nothing look like nothing right about now.

first off celestino was not interviewed, it was his manager roger espino and he said that right now he is concentrating on yourdan, then possibly another fight then hopefully gamboa at the end of the year.

celestino is a fighter that has fought in los angeles against the house fighter PDL, gone to indonesia sithchawal, canada molitor, and come out victorious he has proven that he will go anywhere and fight anyone.

i would love to see celestino v gamboa, but honestly not before cc juanma not because of the financial aspect but because it is a fight that we all want to see because of what has already been started.

if we play the money angle, which fight makes more financial sense cc gamboa which has no serious press to date, or cc juanma that already has hype built in. if u put cc and juanma in ny you have a large population of both ricans and panamanians that equals a sellout. then you have the winner face gamboa. who imo is the future of the division. this way the "great" juanma gets 2 high profile fights instead of one should he win.

promoters protect fighters when they have doubts. and to put juanma into p.c. by sicking gamboa on pelenche shows doubt.

i can tell you as someone who knows celestino, you are very far off here. whether you believe he is right or wrong CELESTINO BELIEVES he can defeat juanma or gamboa. and there is not a shred of doubt to it. and trust me, when he says this, he means it. also, he knows he is fighting a clock. so he is not doing what juanma and gamboa are doing and picking safe fights to build a reputation. he only wants to fight the best right now, no matter who it is. he would happily fight gamboa, but if he had his choice, he would take juanma first. just because you are a gamboa fan, dont just assume everyone is afraid of your guy. finally, i know this is hard to believe, but for him it is not all about the cash. sure he wants money, but even more he wants to show how good he is. panamanians have a strange view of their money that you, I, and a lot of people dont get. so definitely to credit any of this to financial concerns

I am not saying that fighters are afraid of Gamboa but " wise " is the better word. Celestino may believe and feel that he can beat whoever but the feelings don't count in the ring. Caballero has a better chance against Lopez but against Gamboa he is going against the fastest and strongest 126 pounder on the planet...

I wish Caballero does decide to fight Gamboa, and it will be " TIMBERR " !!! :good

The real WBA Champion is CJ, so if Gamboa goes after the IBF Champ, good for him.

Allowed me to educate you. Juanma already had some important fights under his belt. Gamboa needs that special fight to become a star. Caballero in my opinion is just a very lucky bum. But he has had some belts and by beating him up Gamboa will be able to make more money in his fight against Juanma. Because if he fights Juanma, I honestly think Juanma deserves a 60/40 or 65/35. But after Caballero, he could ask for a 50/50.

By the way. Caballero just said a few days ago he hasn;t been offered to fight Gamboa.. He doesn,t even have a contract with his pronoter to make a fight after this one. He said he still interested on fighting Juanma.

Well he did more than get past. He stepped on him, so to speak.

    Bring on Gamboa.

Number of fights has nothing to do with is since gamboa is older than juanma so that excuses holds no water.. also the record of a fighter means ****.. a lot of fighters are undefeated but they still suck
