bernabe is a young fierce explosive fighter but i still think he needs some work and polishing up to due to beat gamboa assuming that the fight goes the distance.

but if gamboa gets caught with his hands down i could definitely see conception finishing him early.

Gamboa isn't a prospect he's an official championship contender ... he has a minor title WBO/NABO featherweight title and has also won a minor title at superfeather ...

and his next fight is for the WBC interim title ... more likely against Linares who's also undefeated.

Linares is a super featherweight (130), gamboa is 126 (featherweight).

he was offered to fight juanma a month before the fight. and it takes a lot more than a month of training to beat juanma. it was a good decision on concepcions part. and if i remember correctly, it was juanma's team who rejected an offer from concepcion's team before he defeated de leon. not that concepcion would have beaten him then, my point is just the ducking issue is overrated

anyway, when it comes to the fight, even though gamboa is lighyears away from concepcion in terms of skill, all of gamboa's opponents have a puncher's chance. gamboe will win more rounds for sure but i think concepcion has enough power to hurt gamboa. should be a good match but we might see concepcion take on either larios or luevano

he was ok. just ok. his opponent was tough but he really did not present anything on the table to beat concepcion. i was more impressed with his fight against giovanni caro to be honest.

i think he has a shot at both larios and luevano but not against any of the champs at 122. he needs a lot of seasoning before he can stand in the same ring with those guys

i was a bit disappointed. he stunned otieno several times but didn't go for the kill. i knew that he just wanted to extend the fight and probably would go for the kill on mid rounds, but unfortunately the cut ruin it all. if he just finished it early, there will no be questions, from me at least.

Concepcion still needs a lot of work. Right now i'd pick gamboa UD but with his chin i won't be surprise if concepcion catches him and puts him to bed.

Concepcion got the counter ability and a hard punching power(Just see his recent fight how hard his punches landing) But whenever he crisp his opponent he showboat a lil' bit and giving the opponent an opportunity to breathe back on action. But sometimes speed kills, Gamboa does have the speed and I can't say much about his power since I only watched 4 of his bouts. It's a dead even at the moment unless they show another bout of what they're capable of.

Heres rd 1 tonights fight. This kid has power in both hands, good strong jab but he is very raw, have Roach bring this guy along. Hes only 20, let him have a couple of years to hone his skills
