IMO, as much as I really like both fighters, rigondeaux is going to school anyone willing to fight him.

As much as i like Donaire i think that Gamboa would stop him in the 8

round, i think it would be competive for the first couple of rounds then

Gamboa would start to break down Donaire who the smaller man

I'm confused as how Gamboa is the bigger man. Donaire is taller with a bigger reach. If he goes up on weight he'll also beef up body-wise

Great fight pitting two of the sport's very best.

This is a tough call, but I'll go with Gamboa.

Would love to see it, of course Arum won't do it unless at least one of them gets beat first. Two cash cows in the making that can fight in two different divisions. However, in this fantasy matchup I think Donaire wins by KO.

I've yet to see how effective Donaire is at 122. I'm curious to see how his speed carries and how his power is at that weight. If he looks better at 122 then there might be a chance that 126 can be a possible, but against Gamboa? Donaire would get KO'd somewhere in the middle rounds.

But we really need to see him fight at 122.

Donaire. He's the better fighter technically imo whereas Gamboa can rely on his lightning hand speed to win him most fights. Barros showed how Gamboa can struggle to impress when faced with a real good techinician.

Donaire is obviously on a whole different level to the Argentine too so despite him being a couple of weight classes lower at the moment, I'd confidently pick him to beat Gamboa.

Donaire by TKO (providing he carries the weight well).

This is my number one fight that could be made right now, with my two favourite fighters.

If they were the same size and fought Gamboa would win because of the style matchup. Donaire doesn't look good when he fights somebody with good boxing skills and speed.

I don't get the :patsch emotion.
Doniare is taller with bigger reach. Do you refute that point?

As for Donaire not looking good against good boxers, I suppose you didn't see Montiel, Vic and sidorenko

I didn't think about Guillermo Rigondeaux ..... damn , I forgot about him ..... I should have written : "Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Nonito Donaire at 122 pounds , who wins ?" ..... anyway probably Nonito and Gamboa fight won't happen .
