Gamboa vs. John - a possibility for the end of '08...

A lot of people seem to be under the impression Gamboa is still a young boy the way they speak about bringing him along.
He's 26.

For sake of argument, I don't feel he is ready for a John yet, Chris is one tough tough customer, & may exploit the gaps the Cuban leaves in his defence.

 

john aint much of a puncher though.

gamboa would walk him down and outscore him i think. :bbb

 

Of course thats a possibility, but from watching yuriorkis he gets hit an awful lot at the level he has been fighting at, or more so, leaves himself open when launching himself. I think John could fluster him a bit. I'm probably just nitpicking though.

There is no doubt Gamboa is incredible though and probably the future #1.
