despite gamboas recent loss and slight decline i still believe gamboas speed could trouble loma and the weight increase would be a factor in gamboas favour. How would you guys picture this fight going

It might actually happen at 130 and it's going to be a superb fight if happens.

He wasn't troubled by Garry Russels speed.

Should happen at 130 IMO. Who knows when Loma will move up again, Gamboa's not a LW anyway, I'd like to see this fight soon actually.

    Where is Walters "Axe Man"?
Last I remember Gamboa was looking for a fight with him.

Is YG still stuck in Tha 50 cent promotion?

Unfortunately, it is too late. Gamboa has wasted his talent, as a his compatriot Solis, too.

When Gamboa signed with his new promoter 4 months ago he made statements that he would be fighting at 130, wanted all the top guys, etc, etc. But he hasn't scheduled a fight and we haven't heard a thing from him since. If he's even the guy who lost to Crawford I'd love to see him against Loma. We've never seen Loma against someone with close to his own speed and skills like Gamboa. I think Loma would have some problems but still win in style, probably by decision.
