Gamboa has no upper body movement ... he hasn't really been hit ... and he hasn't fought any boxers as of yet as a pro.

Gamboa's edge as I seen against his opponents is strength ... no boxing, just KO.

If he tried to knockout Floyd - Floyd would outbox him and frustate him with his movements and defense.

Easy Mayweather win. As someone pointed out Gamboa falls short sometimes with his punches, mostly due to lazy footwork he's picked up as a pro. Mayweather at the same stage is alot more disciplined and composed.

the reason why he's doing that is because his opponents can't touch him:yep. I don't see him getting KOed as he's the more experience amateur, and I can't really assess gamboa since has never yet fought on the elite level, its safe to say floyd wins because he's the more establish fighter right now but the thread was talking about back then when they were 10-0. I really can't tell even though I'm a gamboa nuthugger:yep

Do you really think Gamboa would fight that way in the ring with a top caliber fighter? He does that cuz he can, not cuz it's the only way he can fight. Jones Jr did that as well when he knew you couldn't hit him.

Right now you have to say Mayweather. He is FAR more proven and had better techinque in the early stages of his carrer even though Gamboa has the more accomplished amateur background. Ask me this question again in 5-10 years. Gamboa is the truth but Mayweather is the best we have seen over the past decade.
