Has Hamed ever been on the floor for longer than one second??? No, even getting caught clean by Kevin Kelley and Augie Sanchez etc, he always got up straight away to knock them the hell out. I see the same happening against Gamboa.

Your ****** is showing. Very few people actually like Hamed, but damn near everyone respects him and there's a reason for that. Gamboa hasn't even shown that he belongs in the ring with a fighter like Hamed yet. I've seen Gamboa fight live twice in Vegas so far, and I've seen nothing that would make me think he has a chance against Naseem. That super quick, wide open flurrying style he has is almost guaranteed to get him nailed to the floor by someone as quick, elusive and POWERFUL as Hamed.

Also, lol at you thinking Gamboa has more power. There probably hasn't EVER been a FW that hits like Hamed, let alone the latest flash in the pan Gamboa.

We don't know about Gamboa yet. We know he's strong and fast. We know he is a world class athlete from his phenomenal amateur career. But this isn't the amateurs. As a prizefighter, we don't know about him yet. If Gamboa doesn't come close to what the majority think he's capable of becoming, then Hamed without a doubt.

Do you know anything about Prince?

Keep in mind he'd never been stopped. Go back and watch his tapes, and you'll rarely find footage of him rocked and seriously hurt. As far as I can recall, all of his knockdowns were due to poor balance, and in all of them he immediately got back up. It's safe to say, Hamed had a brilliant chin.

Furthermore, Gamboa may well hit like a mule, but Hamed use to hit like Thor! Sickening KO power that will definately stop Gamboa who like others have already said, has a suspect chin.

I rate Hamed very highly, but I think even more highly of Gamboa. So Gamboa wins it.

Of course you do. And you will until he's exposed, because you're on his nuts.

Gamboa isn't even that special when it comes right down to it. A speedster with a decent punch and very little concept of a defense, bad balance and a very shaky chin.

I for one thought Hamed was full of hype but years passed have seen the pendelum turn the other way, to which he is now underrated.

It would be hypocritical to point out Hameds hype and not see the irony in being all over Gamboas balls.

By the way, I think Gamboa has better skillset

This post doesn't even make sense. Hamed wasn't all hype, we know that now. We don't know that about Gamboa, and he has already shown a lot of vulnerability against journeymen that Hamed would have slaughtered and ate for breakfast.

Are you telling me that Hamed wasnt hyped?? The same guy who the NYC media went nuts for before his fight with Kelley (whos a native), coming out as King ****in Tut, disrespecting Kelley whoring himself for camera time only to be knock down on his ass a couple of times?

I recognize his talents in the ring and Ive already mentioned he is being under appreciated now but he was not a great fighter relative to the known greats of that time.

As for Gamboa, this is a kid who is one of the greatest amatuers under a system that produced the best. He's learning the pro game and hes got some flaws but the kid has tremendous talent and most importantly heart which he has shown early on.

Hamed by KTFO. Hamed got one punch KO power and gamboa's chin is not really that good. If hamed lands and you know he will then it will be lights out for gamboa.
