I've got a feeling that he's headed for greatness. But right now, he needs to stay away from any of the top guys at 130. Give him 2/3 more fights and I think he beats Valero.

Yes he has only 7 or 8 fights but he is number 25 (or 26). He climbed the rankings as a rocket. Maybe because of the good opposition he faced or maybe because his manager paid the organisations some dough :huh :hey
He did faced pretty good competition though. But good enough to be 25 th in your 7th fight is a little TOO quick if you ask me.

Still I am a HUUUUGGGEEE fan of him:happy

Gamboa is Supernatural, therefore, the others would be in a mismatch and would recieve a beautiful Supernatural beatdown.

Gamboa would beat Valero down badly. Give him a while before you throw him in with JMM or Pac who are both top 5 P4P let alone in the divison. He needs a few more fights before someone of Guzmans standard also.

    This time next year :hey

That would be Edwin Valero. Which as I am sure you know explains his competition levels.

He is ranked as a featherweight - champion: Chris John...that would be kinda interesting, because John can't hurt him at all but is a great technican/tactician...

I think that if you give him a year he could take them. Hell he might be able to take them now but Pac is an animal when he gets going and JMM is a very good at well pretty much anything you can do in boxing ring.

Give him time. If you remember your man Mijares got beaten early on in his carrier.
