    Will never happen.
Gamboa is likely not gonna get any momentum, thus no one will want the rematch.
It would be a step back for Tank.

Hey, maybe Gamboa can get some actual momentum, but it would be a first for him. Well, at least since his 126lb days.
The Cuban will most likely be matched up with another promising talent and loose once more.
Or be upset by a though journeyman.

Gamboa looked terrible in that fight but Gervonta looked awful as well. Gamboa is shot to pieces, he doesn't throw nearly as much, seemed to be safety first in that fight

Tank fought a prideful and wily veteran in Gamboa. Still scored 3 knockdowns. The last causing the stoppage. So I wouldn't say he looked awful.

The only reason Gamboa lasted as long as he did was because Tank came in in extraordinarily bad shape. Tank's comments to his corner about how lethargic he was is evidence he didn't even take Gamboa seriously. Gamboa should consider it a moral win by lasting as long as he did.

Agreed, that's why he is stupid to want a rematch, Gervonta looked shockingly bad but we know he can be a special talent when hes fully focused and prepared, if there is a rematch and Gervonta works his socks off in the camp, Gamboa will end up on the recieving end of a brutal KO

A few years ago Gamboa cleans his clock but now even healed his age catches him...during the actual fight it was clear how much better Gamboa is

Why would Tank fight Gamboa again when he's already criticized for not fighting harder opposition? He'll beat Gamboa again. Nothing to prove there. He did what he needed to do. Move on and shush the critics.
