I think they will want to make it for the 135 Belt, that way Garcia is primed for 140 showdown with Pacman if he wins

 

don't know how effective Garcia would be @ 130 but then again, Gamboa really isn't either..

 

Very good fight. If Garcia's chin is good I'd probably favour him due to Gamboa's inactivity and the fact that he has been down vs lesser opponents than Mikey. But its a close fight

 

mikey garcia is very very good! but if the old gamboa shows up he shud win hes more talented better technique footwork etc

Hey, easy, he is no Guzman.

If his career were to end today, it was still a very good one. Granted, a huge disappointment given his potential and the attendant expectations and hype surrounding him from day one, but still a very good career.

 

i'd take garcia.gamboa has been too inactive and hasn't looked like he did some years back.

 

...and even years back, he fought relatively close with Orlando Salido - whom Garcia wrecked. (one might say that is because Salido had become shot...but then he turns around just a few months later with the impressive world title spanking of Cruz, if you'll pardon the phrase... :yep)

Of course, styles make fights - and Gamboa with his speed and unorthodoxy could bother Mikey.
