    I would tend to agree based on what we saw tonight. But, lets get real here. Mtagwa could have been so bad ass that he might have beat gamboa tonight. gamboa doesnt have a Mtagwa chin.

    i agree but gamboa has too much speed and i dont think lopez can land his punches like he did on mtwaga.

    it dosnt matter. lopez looked like a sloppy bum tonight. no decipline wat so ever and he relied on pure heart the last 2 rounds

    I like Gamboa (and Juanma) a lot, but does he have Mtagwa's toughness? I think not. Different fight.

    gamboa has not been sloppy in his last 2 fights. he has matured very quickly and is very decipline now. lopez is looking like this in is 27th pro fight.

    He doesn't need to. It's not like Gamboa is impossible to hit.

    Who knows.
    Mtagwa was on beastmode...no one was going to stop him at the pace he was going.

    Lopez has fought better competition than Gamboa...Gamboa still has to prove himself against the top 10...Gamboa's style is THREATENING, with out a doubt.

    Lopez right now is the better fighter, Gamboa hasn't been tested like how Lopez was by Mtagwa.

    Lopez is beatable though...but you have to go at a Mtagwa pace with elite skills and land 100 punches equal, because Lopez landed 100 more punches than Roger....not a very easy task to do.

    It's tough to call...both guys are very flawed. Lopez may knock Gamboa down a few times, but Gamboa is frightening when he turns fights into a shootout.

    and gamboa has the skill to go at a even faster pace than mtwagwa the whole fight. i learned this when he fought jimenez, and at the end of the fight was looking like he just finished the first.
