i feel u man, mtwaga was weird as **** and tough as nails. but i think gamboa's ring intellegince will just be too much for juanma. but u never know hat will happen! i dont care if the PPV on that fight is 100 dollars, im fukin payin cuz i havent been this excited about a fight in a long time
is tha t a joke the only rounds gamboa has ever lost are the ones that he was knocked down other than that he destroyed his opposition every single round can you say the same bout juanma tonight i dont think so he got rocked in a binch of rounds and ran for his life that last two rounds prrraaa
could go either way. both guys look good when things are going their way but both guys look beatable. aside from fighting a dumb fight, i was not impressed with juanmas stamina and slopiness. standing toe to toe and windmill punching is not something that should be happening at this stage of the game. however, i was impressed with his heart. his team needs to work on his defence instead of just letting his offence carry that load. lots of room for improvement here.
he has never been hurt and how does him getting knocked down have anything to do with gamboa being able to knock him out
hey man u pull for your gallo and i respect that i do the same i just hope the fight happens but im not sure if top rank will let juanma fight caba in january and gamboa in june i think they will want him to take it easy for 1 or 2 fights and then get back on track but i hope it does happen in 2010
i think he would gamboa does best when people attack him and leave their face open , gamboa would've shut his ass out
Would/will be a great matchup. Gamboa's speed should see him take the early rounds. If he fights smart and stays on the outside using his speed in and out placing his shots, he can win a decision. But I think Gamboa wont be able to resist getting involved in a shoot out and it only takes one big punch from either fighter and it's all over. Not a fight that I can see going the distance. Would be interested to see if Lopez can get close enough to land anything to the body could be key to getting him in range for ko. For Gamboa to win I think he will need to get of the floor. Should be a classic. I would like to see Juanma fight Cabellero first. If he is going to go on to be the massive star everyone is expecting. It would be nice to see him clear up at Super Bantamweight before he moves up. HOW HIGH IN WEIGHT DO YOU THINK HE WILL BE ABLE TO GO?
That heart got him through a very hard night. One where he even said he might KO his opponent in the very first round. Can you imagine what could Juanma do if he takes his opponent seriously??? He definately need to make some changes in his training if he wants to beat Gamboa. But I think he could do it. Remember we haven't seen Gamboa against a worthy opponent or going the distance yet. Plus, If Gamboa is so good........ Why isn't he working to clean his division or trying 130lbs instead of worrying about guys at 122lbs???
