Caballero is overated imo, just a wide careless gunslinger. Gamboa by ko with 6 rds.

However if Arum was going to put any of his fighters in with him it'd be Juanma due to his power and chin, Juanma would destroy him with 3 :yep

I hope these fights come off just so I can come back and look for your ass.....

Nah, Cab is pretty wild, a lot of his punches are kinda sloppy, but he throws so many of them, almost like a small Paul Williams. From what Ive seen his chin is pretty good as well. I dont know about Juanma knocking him out at all, let alone in 3, but lets hope we get to find out :good

He's fighting on HBO on July 26. Opponent has yet to be named, but will probably be Orlando Salido or Jorge Solis. This was per Dan Rafael's last blog entry.

    Lol, epic fail!

A Cuban boxer comes through so much **** that ducking some pro athlete is a laughable suggestion. Gamboa fights whoever they put in front of him, that's how he won his Olympic gold and knocked out Jose Rojas, check who that dude sparked out (spoiler: it was Caballero).

I don't know, JuanMa's power looked amazing but Mtagwa took his best and then was destroyed by Gamboa. I don't think he'd like to rely on anyone's chin taking Caballero's punches for two long, so I reckon maybe it's Gamboa he'd pick on the basis that he's more likely to take Caballero out early in landing first. I don't think he'll risk either at this moment in time though. I think the only way it happens is if JuanMa v Gamboa happens and Caballero gets matched with the loser who no longer has much stock to risk.

Don't expect Gamboa to figth anyone worthy of stepping into the ring with him anytime soon. Juanma and John's promoters probably don't want their boys within ten miles of this guy, he would destroy both of them. Juanma struggled against Mtagwa, and Chris John struggled immensely with Rocky Juarez. Gamboa strikes fear into the hearts of these guys.

Caballero being overrated is a compliment if you ask me. I think he is nothing but a bum.
