Gamboa's a G. Doesn't change the fact that he stepped up in weight, got a fight that could have sent him towards bigger and better things, and got knocked out.

I don't know about that. Crawford has the frame to go up to WW one day.

I respected both Crawford and Gamboa for taking the fight. It's always refreshing to see guys who will take risks and sign dangerous fights.

I respect Gamboa even more now. It's great when fighters can own up to their loses. Admitting mistakes is the first step in fixing them. I hope Gamboa will come out even stronger in his next outing.

Yes it is actually. It's one of the best teams in the world.

    Don't even deny it

    It's far better than SMS

Gamboa would have gotten many opportunities to fight on Floyd's undercard for good money, instead, he's getting almost jack **** fighting for Curtis.

There's rumours saying that he didn't earn jack in his first two fights on SMS. :patsch

Crawford is not a lightweight and Gamboa is not a lightweight either. Crawford is at welterweight/Jr. middleweight, Gamboa is a featherweight...............but if Gamboa had had a good American trainer, he could have beaten Crawford who is in another weight class...........

Gamboa didnt "step up a division" though for the fight.
He was already fighting there and had held an interim world title at LW.

Makes a nice change from sacking a trainer and blaming others

There are actually people out there that hate on a fighter because they left a certain promoter. Defies belief.

Don't root for him too much, guys.

Gamboa was busted for buying supplements from a PED peddler in Miami.
