Gans-McGovern-Did any scribes think it was a real ko?

Think people are forgetting that McGovern was a massive hitter though, Herman was never the puncher Terry was imo.

Its like Tyson and Holmes vs Spinks so to speak.

Holmes struggle against Spinks, were Tyson just blasted him out in under a round.

 

McGovern by all accounts was a beast in his prime and thats why I initially assumed the fight was legit.

But looking at the Herman fight just the way Gans moved,used the ring,punched and defended himself,all these qualities were non existent against McGovern and makes me wonder if perhaps there is some truth to the rumours.
