I'll definitely take Gans over Lomachenko. I think that in this day and age, the people who are growing up and alongside their favorite fighters' careers don't realize now that their opinions are somewhat victims to recency bias, as well as personal favor. There is nothing wrong with Vasiliy, but he is not going to measure up well against these all-time greats with the current showings that he has, not even considering what that says about him with the current era of lightweights around. He is good, no doubt, but not great.
