Haha, I didn't even know that this fight had even been officially announced... And that was a very awkward faceoff.
Jesus Christ, that looks like a black school teacher and his tiny 5th grade Mexican student. Mikey's in trouble.
There' one hell of a size difference there, however Mikey is a special talent and I think whilst Easter could pose some early problems with his length and height he's still as thick as my **** and I can see Garcia once adjusting scoring an epic KO mid rounds (6-8).
A replay of this week, a great boxer with fantastic fundamentals in Flanagan being beaten by a tall and rangy Hooker? A great boxer with fantastic fundamentals in Garcia being beaten by a tall and rangy Easter?
I wouldn't call Flanagan great, but it will be interesting to see how Garcia will cope with Easter's height and reach advantage.
No way Mikey loses rounds to easter, never mind thy fight. Mismatch, size isf the difference maker only when their skills match up . Not even close here
Mikey wins this fight. More technically sound. If you review Easter's record has had problems when he has stepped up the comp. Look at his last 4 four fights, all decisions, two of them split decisions against fighters inferior to Garcia. Garcia wins this fight, possibly by KO.
If Easter uses his height and reach right he would be a stylistic nightmare at 135 but he doesn't and fights dumb Garcia by ud or late tko.
I've only seen one of Easter's fights, against Fortuna and I personally wasn't too impressed. Fortuna was lighting him up at times. He kinda reminds of Paul Williams, with his tools he should be better than he is.
