Khan isn't even serious about the rematch, I don't think his team would go for an immediate rematch. This is just bull**** talk as was the case after Prescott only to see Khan completely ignore Prescott's existence and hope for someone else to do the job. Him claiming he wants a rematch should be taken as serious as when he was calling out Mayweather, Pacquiao and bigger names.

Take a better look at all articles surrounding Khan, he has been calling out a retired, finished fellow country-man Ricky Hatton. As shameless as always. You will find FAR more Ricky Hatton call-outs than a Garcia rematch.

And that's just some of it, FAR more available out there.

Which further proves Amir Khan and his team know this and are only calling him out to gain positive attention. They will avoid this as they did Prescott unless they are seriously out of options.

I would much rather see Garcia vs Matthysse, Judah, Rios, Broner, Alvarado etc... but if it comes down to an easier 1st defense with a rematch vs either Khan or Morales then obviously the Morales rematch is much more justified since he didn't get blown out and kept it competitive vs Garcia the first time around. 4 round destruction does not warrant a rematch but I would have liked to have seen Garcia smash Khan to bits again just to shut up the fools who still jock Khan despite him getting destroyed the first go vs Garcia.

whoever thinks Khan was outboxing Garcia is ******ed. even in rds 1 and 2 Garcia landed the harder shots and was countering nicely from the very first exchange in the fight he was punchign with Amir, you knew it was just a matter of time before he put Amirs lights out. At no point in the fight was Khan outboxing him.....outworking him significantly to win the first 2 rounds? sure yeah Khan deserved rds 1 and 2 based on outhustling Garcia but the better boxing even in those rounds was done by Garcia, Garcia outboxed Khan from the get go and then KO'd him, there's no need for a rematch. Khan wouldn't have given Danny a rematch, Khan wouldn't even rematch Prescott, he wouldn't rematch a guy who kept it close like Maidana either. Garcia giving Khan a rematch would be the equivalent of Khan giving Mailignaggi or Judah a rematch.

I wonder how they will promote this fight? I mean no one wants to watch Garcia fight... he has to fight a 'name'. Garcia will get beat in the future; he's nothing special.

Sorry about that. I got it from one of the Boondock episodes. I was wanted to say it, this just seemed like a good time to say it, considering Khan is not American....lol

Garcia doesn't want to fight Khan because he is as aware as anyone that Khan probably wins.
Clause or no clause, Garcia could have had his pick.....if Golden Boy had confidence in him, I don't think they do though.

At least Morales isn't a joke.

But yea, beating a even more faded Morales isn't going to do much for Garcia's legacy, but I'm sure it will do good for his bank account.
