    I could have sworn it was less than a month ago that Robert Garcia said they were going back to using old school methods and would no longer be using a strength and conditioning coach. Well, now it appears that they've replaced Ariza with Victor Conte. Could this have something to do with Rios testing positive for a banned substance following the Pacquiao fight and Ariza getting caught on camera administering smelling salts to Maidana in between rounds during the Broner fight? :think

    Victor Conte is a huge advocate for Vada testing. He has bascially done a 180 and has figured there is just as much money to be made by stopping cheating as there is aiding it. He has worked with some others in regards to nutritional advice. He had Berto looking good, until Andre didn't listen and tested positive.

    Juicing is "old school methods". It's been in the sport for about 45-50 years now.

    Unless he meant going back to using amphetamines and other stimulants, which is really old school.

    Forgive me if I don't believe the sincerity of Conte's convictions. The most money of all to be made is by cheating while stopping others from cheating, a possibility wide open to Slick Vic since he simultaneously works with both VADA and with active fighters.
