how can u call garcia terrible. i get ur not the only one who says it but he just keeps winning.

and when u talk about garcia doesn't have a plan b when fights don't go his way .. i think all the fights went his way. he won them all . hes not one dimensional anyway. im sure he had to adjust a little when he fought khan . did u think he wanted to get pitty pattered in the face for the first 3rds cuz those started to accumulate damage on him and that wasn't his intentions. im sure he didnt completely abandoned plan A but he went to plan B in plan A .. he adjusted a little. and let me say this garcia did not go life and death with morales. he clearly beat him. knocked him down and hands down win the fight. life and death do u want me to give and example . u can consider fight like kessler/froch I an II life and death. garcia/morales does not fit that criteria.. watch ur boy morales/barrerra thats life and death

Some people here seem to be overrating Danny's boxing skills a bit while severely underrating Lucas' when in fact both guys have underrated boxing skills overall. I feel Lucas is the more skilled of the two, while having far more power and having a better chin.

Luscious Lucas ****s this kid up.

Mattysse has better timing offensively and the biggest disparity between the two besides experience is mattysse defense and ability to stay right outside of punching range. I haven't seen anyone out time mattysse. I said ajose olsegun would beat Peterson and everyone laughed. I think ajose beats Garcia aswell. Why else have they paid him off 3x?

He has more power but i dont see him being better in everything. I think hes easier to hit then Garcia. I aslo think Garcia is more accuarte. I just had to make this thread because I can see Lucas winning for sure but would I be surprised if Garcia won...HELL NO! That guy is solid all around:bbb:bbb

the better chin will win this one. it worries me that judah hurt garcia. unless garcia could box well and land some hard left hooks i dont think he can avoid lucas for 12rds

He's easier to hit then Garcia? Maybe you should go back and watch them both fight Judah and get back to me.

never seen this one before. danny showed me a little something here against a fast, aggressive opponent. as soon as that guy threw a shoulder at danny (3:50 of that tape) , danny finished him off, went to work, like you're supposed to do.

U dont think he can drop Lucas? like 0% chance? i dont see how people can say Garcia cant drop Lucas when Garcia has dropped almost all of his oppenets at least once.

On the one hand, Garcia has the advantage of being able to fight his fight as he's accustomed to. Mathysse is going to oblige him the role of the counter-puncher by coming forward, allowing Garcia to pick his shots and wing his bombs in exchanges when he sees fit. This allows him a measure of control that can carry him through the rounds as he feints and mixes up his shots to the body and head.

On the other hand, Mathysse is pretty accurate with his shots, knows how to counter the counter (which would serve him well against Danny's looping shots), doesn't give a readily open target, and in an exchange, shot for shot, would probably be able to take the heat better. Also, Danny's a bit planted and straight up, open down the middle, so if his first line of defense fails him (the feet) and Mathysse closes the distance, it's Garcia who has to put more effort in making the fight go his way than Mathysse does.

Either guy could end this fight with the right punch. But when it comes to that, Mathysse has an edge here also. Who takes Judah's left uppercut flush on the chin and ****ing laughs at it? Danny's chin is solid, but despite his impressive ability to stay calm and collected through adversity, has shown he's not immune to being intimidated by a couple of hard shots deep in a fight (Zab). Mathysse can't be immune to taking any and every shot Garcia, but I'm willing to bet he can take more than Garcia can his. So while Garcia can have success boxing and countering at his preferred range, I think it's more likely Mathysse has the ultimate success pressuring and setting up his shots with poise and bad intentions, even if he has to weather an early storm.

When haven't seen Lucas get hurt yet, while we have seen Garcia get hurt. Can Danny drop or hurt Lucas? Maybe, there is a chance.

Can Lucas hurt or drop Garcia? Absolutley!

i think garcia loses because he'd have to learn to be the hunted instead of the hunter.
