Come on, I think you're being extremely harsh here. If he's so easy to beat, guys like Judah and Khan would have beaten him already. He's not easy to beat, that's why he's the champ.

I think Matthysse will beat him, but Danny is no push over. He's very sharp when his stamina is full and his punches are very quick. He tired down the stretch against Judah and that will be his downfall against Matthysse if Matthysee doesn't knock him out early.

 

Best chance is to get a titanium implant in his jaw and forehead.. Otherwise, its goodnight Irene

 

The same Garcia that resorted to throwing wild left hooks in hope when Khan was cracking his face for fun? It won't work against Matthysse and he is lucky Judah didn't quite have the power to put him down as well. He is slow and crude, easy work for Lucas.

garcia is not as slow as you make him out to be. if he was so slow why didnt judah or any one else he fought just beat him to the punch all night. why hasnt there been anyone to just stick and move and use all 12 rds to win. its because danny may not be the fastest but he makes up for not having speed in other areas, danny is very well rounded. danny wouldnt be undefeated if he was so slow.

 

Are you mad? Garcia KTFO Morales. You seem to speak in cliches "life and death with shot morales" That same Morales gave Maidana a great fight. He was not shot, he simply got KTFO. Accept it. Funny thing is, I bet you give Maidana props for his fight with Morales because is not Boricua. Predictable hater. :good

 

Garcia has a decent shot in this fight. It depends on how good his chin actually is, and more importantly, if he'll be able to land some of those devastating counterpunches against Lucas. Matthyse doesn't have the speed or elusiveness of a Zab Judah, so I'd imagine some of those power shots from Garcia will land flush on Lucas.

It'll be a very interesting fight and has the potential to be a fight of the year candidate.

This is a great fight, Garcia does have a good chance. He is likely the more skilled of the 2 and he can hit. I am happy for both fighters to get on this card too, they will both get some huge exposure.
