Garcia is a poor man's Maidana

Garcia is a lot better than Maidana, he doesn't have great footwork but he may cause can a few problems if he can get in close

 

He's slow as ****

 

Maidana's footwork is very poor but still better than Garcia's appears to be and added to the fact he has nowhere near Maidana's power to make up for it, I struggle to see how you could possibly see him making it anywhere near as tough for Khan as Maidana did.

If Khan turns up focused, he should wipe Garcia away easily.

 

Garcia might have that Carl Froch type ability to counter speed with workrate and deceptive timing. Or he could just be as **** as he looks.

 

I wouldn't say it is much better, I think in Morales fight Garcia wasn't at his best because he just thought he was too good for an old Morales to need to use all of his skills. I just don't see Maidana as anything more than a guy with great power he doesn't seem to have a great skill set and seems to be confused when his power doesn't work I.e Morales match. I'm not saying Garcia is anything special but I think he has more skills as a boxer than Maidana, but with his lack of power he still won't cause Khan the troubles Maidana did

 

Maidanas foot speed is better than Garcias. Both are quite static, Garcia has better timing.

 

Don't see why there was a need to say "poor man's Maidana" when Garcia fights nothing like Maidana
