definitely the best post of this thread and the most logical Garcia's not "Special" by any means but calling him garbage is ridiculous.

I was thinking about making a thread asking if anyone else was not impressed, clearly there are other skeptics.

I honestly don't think he's that good but he's not too terrible. He'd get beat by Lucas, or Alexander (the second one might be controversial but I stand by it)

He is the REAL deal folks...
    Freakish power for a JWW!

    Imagine Garcia Vs. Provodnikov???
    That would be a slugfest.

Lucas yes ..Alexander not sure about that definitely controversial belief and it would be boring as hell even if he did.

Winning well with a slightly limited skillset. Can't fault the kid. Good power, good chin, great timing. His fights are exciting. What more d'ya want?

He is a pure puncher has a helluva left look and good speed, but he's still alittle green and untested. Khan obviously his biggest win and many actually majority had Khan as the best 140lber, but many still had Bradley as the best.

My take on Danny is as raw as he seems at this point he was still good enough to beat Khan who himself has noticeable flaws. Garcia did look faster than ever against Morales, but then it was a shot Morales. To catch Khan early like he did as fast as Khan is isnt easy, but I think Garcia still needs to have taken on a Mathysse or Rios. A rematch with Khan I think would prove first fight wasn't a fluke win for Danny, but hopefully now we can see Garcia in competitive matches. Prescott-Garcia would be good too.

what the **** is this. there's 40 other examples in garcia's fights you could use to say he's sloppy and swings wildly, but garcia just followed up 2 jabs with a perfect straight right, and tried to get another good shot in before the bell rung, while Morales was going backwards.

He is always going to be one of those guys that's behind on the cards but close in the fights and has the chance to land a big punch and often does so cant knock him when he keeps sending people to the canvas that's what exciting boxings all about.

It's Rios that's the one getting overrated for me garcia will tko Rios with ease.

Rios is the one that has shown vulnerability and is going to get badly beaten soon.

Alvarados only claim to fame was beating prescott but even kevin mitchell beat prescott.

Brutal left hook the best so far this year this kid can punch calling him a garbage is nonsense he could get better only if he find a better trainer history has proven father & son team rarely works he got some good attributes in boxing size, chin, youth and power.

Wow BOLD prediction there...so in your expert opinion he'll lose at some point in his career? The flood of stupid ****s is embarrassment to the board, I hope other boards don't see this ****.

I'm in no position to rate his father as a trainer but he could probably do better.

Danny is a good fighter but 140s landscape is quite dangerous and filled with monster punchers like Rios and Lucas, whatever happens it is guarentee great fights. Too bad i'm a huge fan of all three.

Being far from perfect doesn't make you ¨garbage¨

Garcia is a flawed but still solid fighter, he's not a bum by any means

If Top Rank even enters into discussion to have one of their guys fight Garcia then the OP may be closer to the mark than not.

This. He's seemingly average to above average in pretty much every category. Clear weaknesses, but obviously has pop and decent speed.

I think he'd beat Judah and Rios, definitely not Lucas, though.
