As far as the TS's question. Haney is easily more skilled, but he's lacking the power to keep Ryan off of him. However, if he can stay on his bike throughout. He can eke out a close UD. But in all likelihood, even though he's more talented, eventually Ryan will catch him and stop him late. Davis isn't some amazing talent, he's just heavy handed and a southpaw, which sees to hypnotize people, however.... his one advantage he has over Ryan is, he's not as flat footed, and has better footwork, and that's about it. But they're equal in terms of speed. Defense wise. Both are quite porous, the only difference is, when he has nothing to fear, Davis' offense is his defense. However when he's in there with a decent puncher, he keeps his hands at home far more, and is easier to hit. Or if his opponents let their hands go, he freezes up.
I could only imagine what you'd be saying right now if Loma pounded on the one legged corpse of Yuriorkis Gamboa for 12 rounds, before landing about 5 vicious clean flush lefts in a row before depositing a clear eyed very alert Gamboa on his backside, prompting the ref to hurriedly scurry over and quickly wave off the match to preserve his KO streak. Or if Loma was getting lit up and backed up by a featherfist from a division south for 5 rounds, before landing a haymaker. I can guarantee you wouldn't be picking him to go up and easily blast out Josh Taylor.
I am not sure I have mentioned Josh Taylor in this context after all as far as I am aware I have not seen the talented Scotsman fighting guys 2 weight classes below. Typical of you guys or should I say Lomasexuals to bring up your Cry Baby icon when this topic does not concern him. I will speak to Uncle Al Haymon perhaps it’s time to give Nomaschenko his ring death.
Folks, you're witnessing the Birth of the Stankosexuals. If you honestly think Davis beats Lomachenko, I feel genuinely sorry for you. The level of delusion on display here is almost heartbreaking. This is a man who's completely divorced from reality.
Haney is a better boxer than Ryan Garcia Garcia is far more explosive than Haney........... Please don't confuse these two things.
As divorced from reality when I predicted Teofimo Lopez would beat Lomachenko and make him crybaby Nomaschenko. I know both Tank and Lopez would end him.
You are seriously deluded. I am certain Haney beats the **** out of Ryan Garcia. I have seen all I need to with this guy.
ya i a gree... Haney is so boring. that fight against cuban made me cringe when he talking bout billions. Lets start with making 10m first Devin. Haney is the only one of thhis "fab 4" lightweight that doesnt bring excitement
Garcia had proved that he is capable to beat post covid 33 y.o boxer, ( boxer never ever in his life had any world major tittle.) Campbell is 0-2 in world tittle fights vs Linares and Loma. And still he now might be considered as better than Tank and Haney, of course. And Loma as overrated etc and over hyped guy. Sure. Now Garcie might have in the ring some bum to KTFO in first round to get fun for fans in forums. Then move next. Garcie is worse than 20 y.o Canelo, not alone 22 y.o Canelo.
everything depends on when the fights take place. garcia is learning, but hes improving quickly. i dont think he is ready for teofimo, yet. but i think he beats davis right now. he hits harder and is faster than anyone tank has fought, and he is not afraid to let his hands go. even the shots that dont land flush are gonna put some questions to tank. leo was having a field day teeing off on tank, till he got repetitive. this kid is faster, hits harder, and is at least 2 divisions bigger than leo. i think they eventually get into a shootout and ryan catches him stepping in and hurts him bad. cause tank is gonna have to take chances to get his shorter arms inside the end of ryans punches. neither one is a defensive genius and garcia got faster, heavier hands. davis has more experience, but against lesser threats.
The more I analyze these matchups. I’m thinking Ryan G Has a significantly better shot at beating Tank then Devin Haney. there is a reason he is calling out tank out so hard & putting D Haney on the back burner even though he is his mandatory for the WBC belt. Ryan G is not clearly better then either. But He does match up way better vs Tank then he does Haney. Tank doesn’t have the size or reach to fully exploit Ryan’s flaws. Unless he starts working on his Street fighter uppercut... “ShoreYuken!” I’m stoked for this triangle to settle their differences.
