I mean come on He beat an old old shot Morales X2

    Next He beat Khan

Yesterday He beat a shot Old Zab Judah to a decision and not really impressively

He only legit win would be against Khan I guess

Honestly He is very limited fighter, I don't see anything special in him. I will give him props after he beats Peterson

(This is just my opinion, feel free to express yourself nicely  and give your reasoning)

This is the same fight people were getting upset over when they first heard it was happening! Golden boy sees it after beating Khan they gave him Judah, instead of better opponent!

Garcia landed 9 total Jabs in the Judah fight, he is very flat footed, throws very widely. I am 100% sure Peterson Owns Him

UPDATE# Thank you everyone for my first 2k+ Views Thread :happy:happy

Hes got power but I do want to see him in with Lucas to really guage him ..I mean beating an old Morales and and old Judah is not the best way to guage him.

Who is over rating him? if anything he is under rated.

He is at the top of the 140 Division.

If he was so over rated, OVER HYPED KHAN would have not been KTFO by him.

He can throw punches which leave you unable to answer...

    His power is dangerous

    He always throws a counter

Seems like a really thrustrating guy to fight.. He is always ready to throw a counter so even when he is throwing his right hands to the body and his jab you have to be carefull...

    He's just dangerous...

The best way to try and beat him if you're a boxer is win the first few rounds, stay very cautious midway through then win the last few rounds...

Think Lucas would pose real problems for Danny.

Zab wasn't shot, he fought a very good fight.

Garcia is a little bit overrated, yes, but he's a darn good fighter.

It's very hard when you first watch Danny to see why he's so good...

It's all the subtle things he does...

Judah & Garcia both had something to prove last night and they both did themselves good.

Overrated is Matthysee . Lucas actually lost to Zab. Even if you thought Matthysee won, it was a closer fight than last night's fight.

True that is why I said after he beats Peterson I will give him his props and not Matthyssee because he is the most over-rated fighter on this forum right now

By who? Any credit he gets, he's worked hard for it. I admit I'm a bit of a Garcia hater, but in the last two years he's stepped up ok:

    - Campbell
    - Holt
    - Morales x2
    - Khan
    - Judah

Sure, all of them were waaay past-prime with the exception of a weak Khan and a game Judah, but still, for a young guy he's taken a sensible learning curve and has come out on top every time.

I don't really think he is "so good". He does have some good nuances in his game. He has that great hability to counter in the middle of exchanges, but his defense is porous, his footwork is sloppy and he tends to throw too many wild shots.

    1. Nobody is overrating him. They're not calling him a future ATG or a future hall of famer. They're not calling him top 10 pound-for-pound. They're just acknowledging him as one of the best at 140, which he is.

    2. He's gotten a good enough resume now to prove he's something. Judah fought his heart out, exceeded expectations, and brought out the best in Danny. Danny showed poise, intelligence, skill, and the will to bear through adversity. He beat Khan where Maidana, Kotelnik, Paulie, and Judah couldn't. His wins against Morales aren't his best, but he did come back from being out-boxed by Morales in the first after Morales had impressed against Maidana and Cano.

:good Definitely all that screamed to me during the fight. He's slow and ate too many shots.
