Garcia is actually UNDER-RATED

I am a big fan of him, dude is a breath of fresh air for boxing.

He is better than I thought he was. He has good power and decent skills but not great. And he commits to his punches and stays in fights. If he didn't have the heart he did, he wouldn't be that good a fighter, but he sure comes to fight. I want to see him fight Peterson. That will tell me a lot.

 

Garcia has simply beat the **** out of the guys put in front of him. There are areas where he could improve but at the end of the day he's the best 140 pound fighter in the world, as it stands today.

he places his shots very well and selectively. very tactical puncher.

 

Nah he didnt get rid of Zab, but he sure **** got rid of Khan.

 

Nobody has said he is special but power in both hands and a chin can take you places

 

This. He has good fundamentals. Dont be asses and deny. When he got hurt...he didn't show it .5 seconds. Judah got delayed picking it up. Tells you like most counterpunchers he thinks these scnerios though before he gets in the ring.

 

I was actually impressed by him a little bit. Who's overrating Garcia?? He's not overly special but he's looking like a pretty good fighter.

 

Garcia is rated where he belongs. Many fans agree he is limited and lacks in some areas. One thing I will say the dude is still young and still finds ways to win. That right there has my respect. You could always find ways to discredit every fighters opponents in boxing. Khan got drop last night, Martinez got drop, and Garcia fought a determine Judah. But guess what they all won:good

 

Khan dominates him in a rematch, as would Morales in a third fight.
