There would be a redeeming quality if it was at 47. I wanna see how Garcia copes with 47. But besides that, it sucks ass. :nut

 

The trip to 147lbs is good news for Garcia his choice of opposition not so stellar

 

Paulie must be chuffed might as well be a retired fighter...but still getting them decent fights for nice paydays.

 

I would have rather seen Paulie fight Branco for the EBU strap.

Doesn't matter if it's at 147. Paulie maybe punches like a 112 pounder when he sits down on his punches. All that matters is whether Paulie can box well enough and his chin is strong enough to out score Garcia over 12.

I actually think there is a decent chance he can do that because Garcia is fairly slow and likes guys that come at him. But it's probably going to be a stinker of a fight either way and does nothing to acclimate Garcia to 147.

 

Well it's better than Thurman's but Garcia is at a point farther along, he ought to be rematching Herrera, Matthysse, Khan or Peterson or actually getting a relevant fight, he's already fought two wily veterans in Morales and Judah ffs.

 

Khan even stopped paulie years ago

 

I've been bored to death by Paulie god knows how many times. ENOUGH! In the future maybe try giving the tv fights to some hungry up and comer instead of old pitty-patting retreads like him. Wasn't his last fight enough to show him he was finished?
