Cotto took the **** really last time till rnd 7. Then the bricks started. Smashed by Mosley mullered by Manny the mauling from Miguel is coming up. I'll fly from London to NYC to watch Margarito brutalized for the last time
I have a feeling Cotto is going to have his hands full with Mayorga. I highly doubt that the outcome of that fight has any bearing on the Cotto-Margo fight as it is a big fight anyway so we will see how motivated and prepared Cotto will be for March. Hope I'm wrong
Styles make fights and Margaritos style will always win over Cottos style however with steward in the corner Cotto might see the final bell. However Steward is not the answer for every fighter.... cintron looked better but it didnt help him win fights he needed to win at the end of the day it was still the same Cintron even though he had more weapons in the rematch with Tony. Cotto may have a few more weapons but again at the end of the day its the same old Miguel. They need to focus on Mayorga cus like it or not that style is a very difficult style to deal with the wide looping bombs you have to time those and they are hard to see cus he pushes you back and throws those wild shots which are hard to see. I have a feeling the Cotto Mayorga fight may actually be a close fight....
I have been a big fan of both guys for years. I do not favor one over the other. However, a rematch is the same fight on a different night!
Dont like this fight for Cotto at all , but once again the little Puerto Rican has proved he will fight any mother ****er on the planet !!!! Im gonna miss him man ................. because i think this will be the end of him , if Mayorga doesnt put pen to that even before Margo :deal
Miguel battled nearly to the end (even with getting hit by bricks), and battled to the end against the best….winner by UD, Miguel Angel Cotto....but then again, fight shouldn't happen since he said tony would never make another penny from him again.....but money talks, so who knows
I'm choosing Margarito. I'm curious if his eye will come to any effect though.. Israel Vazquez went through some eye surgeries and his usually never held up.
