Its all up to miguel in the end who is the better boxer over margo/mayorga any day. The first 6-7 rounds of the cotto/margo fight were nothing less than a boxing clinic but even tho margo was loaded his work rate/stamina were a major attribute in that fight which is still something he has at this stage and if the fight is made at 154 it will be to margo's advantage too....however...cotto still has the edge on skills and has the perfect blueprint layed out by mosley...again is all up to him cause margo is not making ANY changes...Now mayorga is a whole different story all together, wild wide punches, walks straight foward and doesnt cover well to the body.He will try to outgun cotto for the first 3-4 rounds and will gas out like he did against trinidad,if not worse cause he is way past his prime, i dont see mayorga slipping cotto's jab at all...
If Pacquiao would have stayed on the ropes he would been hurt with Margarita's body shots. I don't see Cotto laying on the ropes on this one....not with Steward in his corner !!! Expect a more physical fight out of Cotto with Margarita getting pushed back and pounded !!!
lucky guess ....but yea, i don't think miguel should take this fight....but what u goin say if tony loses again....i'd rather see tony put that whoopin on shane...aint fair shane was able to cheat with his roids but tony couldn't with his bricks
margacheato has looked like **** since the cotto fight. cotto is in a beter position and shoul utilize his new defense. should be interesting. still not a huge fan of him at 154 but i think he beats both mayorga and margacheato
If Cotto can effectively clinch and can actually defend himself against uppercuts he can get a decision. It could still very well be the same fight on a different night, like Boo said. Margarito's pressure can be pretty intense which is the worst thing that can happen for a guy who has had stamina questions in the past.
