Come on man, that's a very hyperbolic statement to make as a Thread Title.

The majority of "low blows" were actually on the belt line so they're very much legal shots.

I counted 2 definitive low blows, and Garcia was deducted 1 point accordingly.

I want to re-watch the fight anyway and see if I missed something, including some posters here insisting that Lucas' eye closed up from a headbutt which I definitely didn't see happening when watching it live.

Dude it was more then 2 low blows please... Garcia and his dad had a plan to weaken Matthysse with the low blows it seems..

 

Listen I'm not trying to justify the use if dirty tactics but your obviously blow this way out of proportion because Lucas had his share of head pulling, rabbit punching and yes low blows. Why purposely overlook the obvious which is the fact that Danny not only showed his awesome chin but he demonstrated what most boxers already knew that he is multi faceted, savvy and resourceful. He was and is the more versatile fighter while Lucas continues to be tough willed strong and explosive.
