    Garcia moving onto bigger and better things @ 47 it may seem. Paulie after his fight with Herrera and then to infinity and beyond.

    Let's not talk about maybes/ifs. We don't know about that.

    I think it is a great career choice to move up to 47, there are WAY better paydays there.

    The eye injury will always leave a question mark over this fight for me then (and don't tell me it was caused by a punch). Lucas was doing well til the that point.

    It didn't leave anything, it was a very decisive win.

    It was a pinpointed shot, wasn't lucky at all. He aimed for that eye and he got it. Great shot

    Danny was making him completely gunshy. It was Garcia's power and toughness, not the eye.

    Surley you've seen the clip slowed down, he grazed his eye with his thumb.

    Garcia was definatly tough though, Lucas didn't seem to be able to hurt him much.

    It was a 2 inch punch on the inside, he didn't load it up and he got him on the eye.

    It's as simple as that.

    Anyways, you should watch the shot again in slow mo.

    If you didn't read already, it was a 2 inch punch on the inside. There was no torque in it because he didn't load it up but it had enough force to bust Matthysse's eye up.

    It was a great shot.

    There was no thumbing of any kind.

    Very similar to Lewis' shot vs Vitali. It was a legit punch. Although Lewis's was MUCH harder (As his was loaded up)

    Danny closed his eye,knocked him down and won a close but clear decision,Id like to see a rematch but cant blame Danny for wanting to move on..

    Cheers. I might concede this one, It's hard to tell but that does look like a short punch, just wasnt much on it so Matthysse was unfortunate.

    If he's not gonna rematch Matthysse or fight Provodnikov he should move up. There's no point staying at 140 if you're not gonna fight those guys. If he goes up to 147 he's gonna have to avoid people or he'll lose imo. He can beat some of the top guys at WW but I can't see him remaining undefeated if he fights all the top guys at 147.

    I'd like to see a rematch but if Garcia moves up to 147 and takes on the better fighters there, fair enough.

    Looks like the only way this might happen is if Matthysse follows him up and wins a title at 147.
