He wouldn't "beg" for ****, he's the champion and he gave Matthysse the shot so a rematch would be reasonable and obvious if he lost.

Division hoping is out of hand.

Garcia is going to lose his 0 to a guy he shouldn't be fighting in the first place.

I don't blame hin for not taking an immediate rematch with lucas.

Danny's got no where to run either he rematches Matthysse or moves up and gets beat by Thurman his choice

:-( According to some of you guys, the only choice he had when fighting Lucas, was getting KFTO in less than 3 rounds. Am pretty sure he got plenty other choices. These Khan fans I tell you

    1. Not a nuthugger, I give Garcia credit for being a tough little motherf*cker and fighting a good fight. Secondly, if he got outboxed for 9 or 10 rounds he would have been exposed, losing by 2 points despite a knockdown and fighting with one eye isn't get exposed you tool. That sort of hysterical crap is what I hate about 'tards like you.

    2. Very very close fights like this do warrant a rematch especially when you consider how close it was even with the eye closed for so long - it leaves a big question that needs answered over Danny's best win. Again, if it was so easy and so clear for Garcia then why not do it then go to 147?

    3. No way is Paulie a bigger draw, now you're being ignorant. You mentioned Khan, he's being ridiculed by boxing fans at the moment and was life and death with a washed up lightweight. Brook isn't a draw in the US and Danny won't go to the UK, Porter isn't a draw, the Thurman fight won't happen for a time and neither will a fight with Maidana (if ever). So who can he fight right away is a bigger draw? Only Floyd and he looks like he's taking a joke fight with Khan at the moment.

So yet again, if it was so easy the first time then why is it such a big deal to fight Matthysse again?

You fking idiot. Do you know how to read. He was supposed to completely demolish Garcia in less than 3 rounds and not only did that not happen, he got knocked the fk down and go this eye shut. You should learn to read you illiterate moron!

Garcia showed that he was one dimensional and could not cope with Garcia's power/size. He was becoming more and more gunshy as the rounds go by and Garcia was completely outboxing the man with tactics similar to what Hopkins does. You could see that Hopkins taught him a thing or two.

    2. What question did it leave? Are you an idiot?

He shut his eye out with a calculated punch and ended up outboxing him for the last 7 rounds. You're so utterly clueless it's funny.

Garcia will be fighting at a higher weight class against better opponents, simply it. Nothing else.

This is a fact. Listen kiddo.

Matthysse is not a bigger draw than any of those opponents that you stated. Matthysse is not known except by hardcore boxing fans. This should also address #3. Just because it was a easy fight does not mean you have to fight him again, he has bigger and better things to do. And that's going up to 47 and fighting the better fighters there.

    Learn boxing.

i had more of a problem with the constant low blows

its obvious were not getting a rematch right away with Garcia opting to fight the much easier opponent in Herrera

in other words Garcia knows he got hurt in that fight and if not for the eye swelling (thumb or no thumb) and hitting low he wouldnt have won that fight. He blew a shot at Mayweather with the way he fought that night.

Heres hoping Lucas gets a big fight at 147, theres nothing for him at 140 anymore. He beat Peterson, fought Garcia with no chance of a rematch in the immefiate future so **** it why not fight Malignaggi / Porter seeing as niether of them have a fight lined up or a bigger challenge in Kieth Thurman?

Outclassed for the last 3 ****ing rounds after Danny had gouged Lucas. Danny didn't outclass ****! He only started to throw combinations and got bolder once he knew Lucas couldn't see the left anymore. Outclassed... Hahaha that's a good one.

    :deal:thumbsup

Now this is a good post.

A rematch would be a good fight but there is NO way that Danny is ducking it.

He beat him and he's moving onto bigger and better things.
