    Vacate the titles and move up, both fighters are struggling very hard to make weight why hold the belts hostage when fighters at 140 are hungry to get a belt and unify. Peterson and Garcia are welterweights. Garcia looked like **** in his last fight at 140.

    The point is that a world title belt should be the authority on who is champion. That's the whole point of having them. Otherwise it just comes down to opinions, which is a recipe for confusion and dispute.

    But where is the IBF's authority when they have a 'champ' like Peterson, who 'won' them while pumped to high heaven on testosterone against Khan. and should have been stripped when he fought (and lost) to Matthysse. What a shambles.
