Garcia-Peterson in NJ

I don't see any sens in this fight personally. Garcia has shown that he can beat this level of fighters. It's another step down after the Lucas fight. Peterson was literally obliterated by Mathysse.

 

Styles make fights. Garcia is a slow starter and does not pose the same threat Lucas does. Triangle theroys don't work. Rather this fight get made then Garcia vs mayweather .

 

Garcia has been clamoring for a "big fight" and this doesn't qualify, imo. If he stays on this level of opposition I'd prefer a bout against Provodnikov or Crawford.

Sounds very entertaining if not exactly very meaningful.

That's okay too not every fight can be a super important one, sometimes you have to settle for one that's worth watching.

 

After facing Herrera and Salka back to back how can Peterson not be seen as meaningful? :huh

Peterson is a champion at 140 and regardless of anyones thougts, he is a top 3 fighter in the division.

Why would he fought Ruslan coming off a loss?

Crawford is a 135lber and Danny would yet again be labeled a cherry pick by the haters.

Face it, this a good fight and which Danny loses if he doesn't stop Lamont.
