The way Rios fights , if you put him in with Garcia he would only serve as a danger to his own self. He would get crowned so bad it wouldn't even be entetaining. Manny will do the same to him. Alvarado was all porrige.
Not a bad prediction but Garcia isn't retiring Rios. That's asinine. Please don't act like Garcia and Pac have the best defense in boxing. They don't. Rios gets hit a lot but he doesn't wilt. He is a dangerous fight for anyone at 140. I expect Pac to beat Rios if that fight happens. However keep in mind Margarito nearly sent Pac to the canvas with body shots. Rios' chin is better than Marg's (post WrapGate). He is also hungrier and has a bit better defense. Probably punches harder as well.
I like them both but but rios really impressed me last night just think he could take Garcia in to deep waters
Disagree, Rios would prove too strong and persistant. Rios gets hit yes, but its not as if he's getting caught off guard by anything. Garcia is not active enough and would get bullied, it worked against Khan due to Amir's lack of ring intelligence to keep the fight at distance and not to overcommit. Its highly unlikely that Garcia would be able to turn the fight with 4, 5, 6 counters like the one he caught Khan with, Rios prevails in this one.
