Petterson was useless last night, that fight was nothing to go on.
Lucas will walk himself onto bombs.

 

Garcia has ok boxing skills but he's way too easy to get hit. Lucas pressure style and the fact he does hit far harder will be the key. Garcia needs those boxing skills as you say cause there's no way he can slug it out with a powerful brawler.

 

Garcia makes adjustments and always goes into a fight with a good gameplan. That's what makes him dangerous for anyone. But Lucas has that game changer in his fists. Since Lucas fights in orthodox stance you can believe Danny is going to look to land that big left hook. I want to see how Lucas reacts to not the first flush one that lands but the 5th and 6th (if the fight lasts long enough). Can't wait for the fight. Winner is the undisputed king of 140. As for the loser, well, he still knocks out Khan.

 

I agree, Peterson did nothing to hold Lucas off. All he did was throw out a little weak jab with no force behind it.

It would be different against Danny who would be throwing heavy shots every time Lucas came in and in the exchanges, he would not be able to be so reckless against Danny. Lets hop off this guys nuts for a second and really look at things.

Will be a shootout for sure.... Garcia will try time those hooks...and he has to have PERFECT timing against Matthysse otherwise it's over.

At the moment I'm clearly favouring Lucas due to having a better chin (he took judahs best shots and carried on, garcia froze when judah tagged him). Lucas also has more power in all his punches and in both hands.

So for now, have to say Lucas takes it, but in boxing one punch is all it takes and garcia can bang too and has decent chin himself. Lucas better not start just relying on power, he needs to make sure he's on his game and not let this new found fame get to him

 

Lucas is going to stop Garcia. Garcia does not possess even half the boxing skills of Peterson. The guy looks like a damn zombie when he fights. Lucas easily takes his rightful throne as king of the 140 lbers. I'm no longer doubting Lucas. The guy is going to take Danny's belts.

 

Garcia is the most limited fighter with belts right now, seriously the guy really is very limited and super slow, lucas would take care of him with ease

I'm a big fan of Danny Garcia but this guy just kills you when he touches you with either hand, Ajose & Soto had never been down before Lucas dropped them. On top of it, this guy has a great chin, sorry Danny you will be second best at 140.

 

Lucas would KO Garcia, Judah had him wobbling, one big punch, Danny is dust.

 

agreed, Garcia stops Matthysse, he's proven to have a way more solid chin than Lamont, he won't try and be cute with Matthysse like Peterson either, Matthysse is gonna taste some power for once and he's not gonna like it.
