Bingo. People here seriously underestimate Lucas boxing skills, while they overrate Danny's in this situation. Even tho both have underrated boxing skills overall, Lucas is the more skilled boxer-puncher IMO.
Lol seems like everyone's on lucas bandwagon, will see if their will be any turn coats closer to fight night
Garcia will have some openings if Lucas is really loading up on his shots like he was doing against Peterson, just a small observation not a official prediction. We'll get to see how good Garcia's timing really is in this one, make it happen.
Most of them were for Peterson and talked a lot of **** saying how mathysse was not that great, now they feel dumb, do they either bandwagoned Lucas or they shut their mouth because they realized they don't know **** about boxing
Matthysse's punches are much quicker, his defense is much better, better chin, better stamina, Matthysse's punches are much harder and shorter. Matthysse will knock Garcia out!!!
hahah what?? he's not quicker, not better defensively, both have been hit by solid guys and taken the shots neither has proven to have better chin than the other, when has matthysse gone 12 hard rounds and impressed to show he has better stamina? he might have slightly better power but not by much and the one thing you're right about is he punches shorter for the most part but although danny likes to loop he throws in straight punches to throw you off as well. farmboxer proving again he don't know ****. garcia is far more versatile and has great adaptability.
if he can catch and counter on much faster fighters like zab judah and amir khan...i'm very certain he can catch and counter on matthysse. the more i think about the match up...the more i like garcia's chances.
soto is a lightweight on the downslide who came up to fight matthysse. his style was all wrong. ajose was coming off almost a year lay off. danny is a better fighter than both soto and ajose and has better punching power.
